Symposium Description
In a world of economic stress, national political conflict, gun violence, war, and traumas caused by the pandemic, the Church and theological schools are navigating a period of uncertainty. What needs to be said and heard in this endemic time? What approaches should seminaries explore to form impactful leaders who can address the challenges of our time effectively? Our complex realities call for robust and truth-telling conversations—not oversimplification or nostalgia—about theological institutions and their engagement with faith communities and the public square. The panelists of this Inauguration Symposium will represent a broad spectrum of disciplines as we seek to create a platform for intentional dialogue and praxis.
