Lawmakers from across Georgia have convened for the 2022 General Assembly. The decisions they make over the next several months will shape Georgia's future. This will be an eventful--and contentious--legislative session.
On Monday, January 31st, you are invited to join Presbyterians for a Better Georgia for our annual Advocacy Training. This year's training will help you understand the issues that are likely to come before the legislature. You will also learn how to most effectively use your voice as a citizen to shape our state's policies.
PBG will continue to be a strong voice for policies that are consistent with the caring ministries of our congregations, including support for affordable housing, ending homelessness, and ensuring that every person in Georgia has access to physical and mental healthcare.
Invite your friends and members of your faith community to join us for the Advocacy Training. You certainly do not have to be a Presbyterian to participate--all are welcome!
