A Pilgrimage to Montgomery, AL

A Pilgrimage to Montgomery, AL
Presented by the Savannah Presbytery and the Nobis Project

Savannah Presbytery formed a Racial Justice Ministry Team in response to the murder of Ahmaud Arbery. Our team has been interrogating our own white supremacy and the systems that uphold it while also sharing what we are learning through conversations, Zoom gatherings, book studies and Lenten devotions. A pilgrimage to Montgomery AL, in partnership with Nobis Project, is our next step to engage people and to move them to action.

If you would like to join us, our brochure tells you how to register. We will meet at the Courtyard by Marriott in Montgomery, AL at noon on Saturday, May 28th to begin our time together.

If you have any questions before you commit, we are holding two Chat Sessions - one on Thursday, April 28th at 7 PM and one on Sunday May 1st at 2 PM - where Heather DuCloux of Nobis Project and I (Martha Susie, Savannah Presbytery) will be available to answer them.
