GIPL’s Annual Green Team Summit

Sunday, February 26, 2023 from 2-8 PM

Temple Sinai
5645 Dupree Dr NW
Sandy Springs, GA 30327

Celebrate 20 years of GIPL at the Annual Green Team Summit! The Summit is an opportunity for Green Teams, faith leaders, and environmental activists from across the state to gather for a time of fellowship and shared learning. The Summit will feature a series of workshops, speakers, and a shared meal.

We are excited to announce that Karyn Bigelow, the Co-Executive Director of Creation Justice Ministries, will be the keynote speaker at the Green Team Summit! Karyn earned her Master of Divinity from Pittsburg Theological Seminary and previously served as the policy advisor and research analyst at Bread for the World, focusing on the intersections of climate change, food security, and racial equity.

At the summit, participants will also hear from Chandra Farley, the Chief Sustainability Officer for the City of Atlanta in a live Coffee and Something Stronger Interview. Summit participants will also have the opportunity to attend workshops led by faith leaders, environmental activists, and Green Teams from across the state.  A full agenda for the Summit and a list of workshops can be found at gipl.org/gts23.

General admission tickets are $35, which includes admission to the summit as well as dinner and wine. Student tickets, table sponsorships, and nonprofit/individual sponsorships are also available.
